so I decided to rewatch Angel - the series, and as any self-respecting whedonite would, I’ve decided to start at the beginning.

the problem with that, of course, is that the first season of Angel is the saddest season of television pretty much ever. this little gem (I Will Remember You) directly precedes Hero, and I watched both yesterday, which reduced me to a sobbing mess for roughly an hour and a half.

but I’m up to ‘The Ring’, now, just thinking about the fun crossovers to come :)

(sorry about the gibberish if you guys aren’t whedonites. although seriously, if you’ve ever judged buffy the vampire slayer based on the name or whatever, and it doesn’t sound like your thing at all, try angel.
it’s like buffy, if it were treated a bit more seriously and a bit more adult, as a sort of supernatural mystery-solving csi-type-show-with-more-charatcer-and-less-boring-technical-jargon-to-waste-space bullshit.)

I can’t post it to 420ish, because too many people follow that blog, but I’m in the midst of planning a surprise visit to a few of my friends states away, which has been absorbing all my time :)

I find that, generally speaking, I have less time for tumblr when I’m actually happy; it’s bizarre.

oh god, all the time. I’m a stoner, and that’s pretty much illegal- and I had a kleptomaniac streak back in middle school, before the vices kicked in. there’s all the substance stuff, from random, rare-occasion college drugs like molly or acid, down to drinking underage with a decent amount of regularity; and there’s more severe stuff like driving while smoking, or what have you.

and there’s more that I won’t get into, but in summary, yes.

I feel like I am stuck in a rut

and I can’t get out. everything’s going well, and my life is overall good- but it’s boring, and I lack direction, farther than some far-off plans to move and start a career elsewhere.

and I’m even more upset that this upsets me, when there is nothing indeed upsetting about my existence.

I feel like a complainer.
